HP sues ex-CEO Hurd after taking Oracle job
ABJ Sep 8 - Hewlett-Packard is suing Mark Hurd, the CEO ousted last month, stopping him from taking a top job at rival Oracle Corp.
The lawsuit came after Oracle hired Hurd as co-President in leading the database software maker's efforts to steal business from HP. HP claims that Hurd will not be able to perform his job at Oracle without violating a confidentiality agreement.
Hewlett-Packard and Oracle have worked together for 25 years to make ensure their products work well together. That relationship now appears strained.
